October 21: Horror Society is adding a new show and new location to its slate of wild screenings just in time for HALLOWEEN! This time we are uncovering some Rising Talent and pairing their films with something that inspired them! Hosted by Matt Storc, starting at 7pm at Bucket o’ Blood Books and Records (3182 N Elston Ave), featuring the CHICAGO PREMIERE of Dolly Deadly with director Heidi Moore in attendance at 7pm with a Q&A, plus Gregg Araki’s Nowhere (1997)! October 26: Horror Society is hosting a graveyard bash just in time for Halloween for October’s Trash Movie Nite! Hosted by Matt Storc, starting at 8pm at Fat Cat Chicago, 4840 N Broadway St. Featuring a Halloween Themed Double Feature: Elvira Mistress of the Dark at 8pm and Once Bitten at 10pm. Prepare your costumes! There will be a costume contest for great prizes! Celebrate the best holiday of the year! Drink Specials, Horror-themed vendors, and giveaways for FREE STUFF! October 30: Horror Society Presents: Spookshow Spectacular! Come spend the day before Halloween with Horror Society and The Emporium Arcade Bar (1366 N Milwaukee Ave) starting at 8pm. Back to Back showings of the fully uncut version of WAXWORK followed by HOUSE (1986) to put you right into the Halloween spirit starting at 8pm. Both films on a 20′ HD Screen!
